Chichén Itzá – Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico

Chichen Itza is archeological find, attributed to the Mayan civilization, before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. It is located at the Yukata peninsula, Mexico.

It was found most likely in 7 century. Since the 11 centure it is capital of the toltecas country.

The most amazing things to see there are the Kukulkan pyramid (24 meter high with wide stairs on every side), the Playing Field of the Prisoners, the Temple of Chac Mool and the Hall of the Thousand Pillars.

It is said that the Kukulkan pyramid is the greates Mayan temple ever existed.
