Montparnasse tower also named Tour Maine-Montparnasse is a skyscraper located downtown Paris. It was build in 3 years from 1969 to 1972. It is also the 9th tallest building in Europe. The tower was designed by Eugène Beaudouin, Urbain Cassan and Louis Hoym de Marien and built by Campenon Bernard.

Although Parisians say that you can get a very nice view from it to the Eiffel Tower hate the building because it does not fit to the architecture of Paris.

There is a nice restaurant at the top of the tower. If you want to have a dinner while watching the sunset over Paris it is a great place to go.

With its height of 210 meters (689 ft) is the tallest skyscraper in France.
