Do not go on a carriage ride in Central Park. You may think that it would be a romantic moment as the ones in the movies, unfortunately, we have to disappoint you. Reality has nothing to do with movies. The horse would be tired and the coachman would not be funny at all. You would spend the whole walk going along the main alleys of the park and in front of you, you would see other carriages and would be faced with the frowning looks of the locals.
Instead, you can wake up earlier and take a walk through Central Park while there are less people. The green lawns would be fresh and you would be able to turn aside from the main alleys and reveal your exploration spirit. Enter the park from 5th Avenue or Central Park West and head to the center – thus you would have an easy access to some of the most beautiful parts of the park.
Do not seat for lunch or dinner in a restaurant on Times Square. It is true that this place has a specific aura, but we do not understand the people who eat there. You would only find well known food chains only you would pay much more. Instead, we advise you to have a bite in Hell’s Kitchen. This is a neighborhood of Manhattan populated with young actors, writers and artists. A great diversity of tastes can be found there. In addition to the usual American, Caribbean, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Irish, Mexican and Thai restaurants, there are multiple Afghan, Argentine, Ethiopian, Peruvian, Turkish, Indian, Pakistani and Vietnamese restaurants.
